How the 3-hour delivery works

1Order online before 5pmChoose your device on the Tokyo 3-hour form, enter the ward and the address (hotel name and room, or your Airbnb), and pay by card. Orders placed after 5pm are delivered from 9am the next morning.

2We dispatch a bike messengerThe router leaves our Otsuka office charged and ready. We email you when it is on its way. Delivery to a hotel goes to the front desk under your name; delivery to an apartment needs someone there to receive it.

3Switch on and connectTurn the router on and enter the password printed on the back. Up to 10 phones, tablets and laptops can share it. Unlimited data, no daily cap.

The fee is for the bike delivery only; the rental fee (from 610 JPY/day, insurance included) is added at checkout. Return is by the prepaid envelope in any post box, so there is no return fee.

Can I get a pocket WiFi delivered to my hotel today?

Yes. In Tokyo’s 23 wards, order before 5pm for 3-hour bike delivery, or before 11am for standard same-day delivery in the evening. Enter the hotel name and your name; we leave it at the front desk.

Do you deliver on Sundays and public holidays?

Yes, every day of the year. Cut-off times are the same on Sundays and holidays.

I’m outside the 23 wards. What is the fastest option?

Same-day evening delivery covers all of Tokyo and the Kanto prefectures if you order by 7am. For Osaka City there is a separate 3-hour service. Everywhere else in Japan is next day if you order by 5pm.

Can I pick it up at the airport instead?

Yes, for arrivals from tomorrow onwards: we send it to the post office or JAL ABC counter at Haneda, Narita, Kansai, Central Japan or New Chitose. See delivery areas and times. For today, delivery to your accommodation is faster.

Is a rental for just a few days possible?

The minimum rental is 3 days. You can extend by email at any time, and the daily rate drops for rentals of 10 days or more.

What if I only need data on my own phone?
